Review by hotel critic
During my recent stay at Tortworth, I appreciated the blend of luxury and practicality offered by this hotel. Set just off the M5, the location is strategically placed for exploring the Cotswolds. I opted for a basic room, pleasantly surprised by its spaciousness and comfort. It provided essential amenities like tea and coffee facilities, free toiletries, and a flat-screen TV, ensuring a comfortable stay. The dining options were commendable, with a splendid breakfast that catered to various tastes, from pastries to a full English. The Bistro also provided satisfying meals, supported by attentive staff like Leo who contributed positively to our experience. The spa and wellness centre was an added benefit, though I found it wise to book my slot for the swimming pool to avoid crowds. While Tortworth offers a luxe setting and healthy options, it also places value on comfort and convenience-making it a smart choice for those looking for a blend of both, especially as you traverse through beautiful landscapes in seeking adventure.
